If a person is teaching in a classroom, meeting the RecognizeB5 eligibility requirements, we consider them a "Teacher" for RecognizeB5 program purposes, even if the person has the role of Floater at their site.
If a Floater is consistently working/floating into one or more classroom(s) of children birth to five (not yet in Kindergarten) 30+ hours a week, they would be considered a "Teacher" for the purposes of the Recognition program.
If the Floater is working/floating into classrooms of all ages (school aged, etc), and is not in one or more classroom(s) of children specifically aged birth to five (not yet in Kindergarten) for at least 30 hours a week, they would not be eligible.
The "classroom setting" does not need to be a single classroom, but includes classroom spaces of children birth to five (not yet in Kindergarten), not the hallways, greeting spaces, lunchroom/playground/bus duty, etc.
